Relevant Work Experience :

Davood Shafie was born in 1978 in Isfahan, in the central region of Iran. Due to his interest in studying cardiovascular disease, he studied cardiology at the Isfahan University of Medical Sciences. He completed his professional training in the field of heart failure and transplantation at the Iran University of Medical Sciences. Davood currently serves as a heart failure specialist at Shahid Chamran Cardiovascular, Medical & Research Center in Isfahan. He has also been the deputy director of the Heart Failure Research Center since 2014. Over the years, he has also coordinated the heart failure registry program in Isfahan. He is also a member of the Isfahan Cardiovascular Research Center (WHO Collaborating Center in EMR)

Persian Registry Of cardioVascular diseasE (PROVE) was initiated from March 2015 and continuously collected information of patients suffering from HF, ST-elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI), atrial fibrillation (AF), percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), stroke, familial hypercholesterolemia (FH), congenital heart disease (CHD), chronic ischemic cardiovascular disease (CICD), and acute coronary syndrome (ACS) from 18 different cardiac centers. Data of patients with HF was collected from their medical forms and recorded in a registry system of PROVE/HF plus a telephone follow-up survey of 1, 6, and 12 months after the date of HF attack.
