She is also a researcher in the field of Clinical Toxicology with the author of more than 100 articles. NE teaches emergency toxicology Course to clinical toxicology fellowship, medical and pharmacy students at Isfahan University of Medical Sciences. She has been the Editor-in-Chief of Journal of Research in Medical Sciences (JRMS) which is indexed in web of science from 2011 to 2016. Now she is the emerita editor in chief of JRMS. Her research projects are in the field of acute poisoning and toxicology and her professional interests are in the fields of Acute Poisoning with respect to opioids, stimulants, organophosphate and paraquat poisoning.
