I am Mehrdad Zeinalian, MD-PhD, Professor Assistant in the Department of Genetics and Molecular biology, School of Medicine, Isfahan University of Medical Sciences (IUMS). I was born in Isfahan on Jan 1974. My MD course was completed in autumn 1999 at Shahrekord University of Medical Sciences. After passing the family physician plan in the faraway rural regions in South Estern of Isfahan province, I began my employment in health deputy of IUMS from 2003. I was the manager of non-communicable disease control programs in Isfahan Provincial Health Center within 2005-2010. I also participated in MPH course at Iran University of Medical Sciences within 2006-2009. My PhD course was started in winter 2011 at Shahrekord University of Medical Sciences. My PhD thesis was focused on the molecular analysis of familial colorectal cancers. My academic life continues in IUMS as a Professor Assistant. Now, my main research topic is cancer genetics and molecular epidemiology of familial cancers.
