Thesis Details: To estimate the incidence and prevalence of the sexually transmitted infection in Iran, a stochastic compartmental mathematical model containing two sub-models, syndromic and etiological, was designed, in each of which the effects of different factors on the system of registration and reporting of sexually transmitted infections were considered. Research Experience :HIV/AIDS, STI/STD, COVID-19, Infectious disease Research Interests :My research interests fall into the epidemiology of infectious diseases, especially HIV and AIDS. I have focused on the control and prevention of infectious disease, harm reduction programs, injection drug use, risky sexual behavior, hidden population, people who live with HIV, and stigma and discrimination related to HIV. As well, I have also designed health and medical measures and interventions to prevent HIV and sexually transmitted diseases. My expertise expands to Cooperation in designing of STI/STD surveillance system in Iran as well as setting up of COVID-19 registry system in Isfahan province, Iran.
